I remember the day when me and dad came to watch your passing out parade in scotland it was the proudest day for me and for you when we came and met you and you showed me around the base and let me have a look at the weapons but the best part of the day for me was having my picture takin with my big brother in his dress uniform and how happy you was. Then we went for dinner in the mess hall we had fish chips dont think dad had any then you told me about the things you had done and how the training went and where you were going when you passed out cyprus i think you said and you made a joke that i didn't understand then, i do know lol. Then you went to get ready for the passing out parade, me and dad went to the side were the seats were and a man in a black dress uniform with a sword came out and then music started and then the soldiers started to march and parade around the base. Then there you were my big bro a soldier seeing you marching with your rifle and your beret on was the best day of my childhood and i was so happy and proud that my big brother was a soldier and dad was happy i think because you were in his old regiment. I know he was proud of you and then we came and met you again and we left to go back to manchester on the train, one of your mates from your unit was with us and you went straight to the bar on the train dad, you and me had a drink and we chatted all the way home. You gave me a bullit casing as a present, it was a really good day Jay and thank you for being the best bro in the world. Love your little bro craig love you mate x x x
